One-Eyed Monolith

What lies ahead

I've been running a game intermittently over the past 4/5 months. We've had a total of four sessions, one in Cairn and the others in my own brand of B/X / OSE. I've had fun, but we haven't quite hit our stride. Now, I'm wondering if we even should!

What I want

I want to run a weekly campaign for a year. That's not quite possible with my players as we live just about an hour's drive away, and knocking that hour, really day, out on the weekend is difficult given the time I want to give to the other people in my life that I love. Still, online play has just never worked for me nor for my players.

Alternatives I'd be happy with:

Some of the above are more doable than others.

What I'm doing

I'd like to run a few more sessions of my B/X campaign and wind towards a real proper shot at OD&D.

My dream campaign

We would use Littlest Brown Book, with some personal house rules based on Marcia B's Simple Skirmish rules for FMC and maybe the New Revised Alternate Combat Sequence from the REDUX campaign.

It would be an Open Table game, welcoming any friends, or friends of friends to join. A glorious year of dungeon delving.

Let's do it.

On the edge of the Sea of Evora sits a lone rusty pipe, just large enough for a man to crawl inside. It watches the waves roll by, and waits patiently for its victims.
